Oil Seal / Lubricant / Gasket

Bearing performance relies largely on the ability of the sealing system to retain lubricant and prevent aggressive contaminants from entering. Often the seals are expected to fulfill these tasks while withstanding tough operating conditions, including considerable thermal expansion, high dynamic runout and shaft-to-bore misalignment.

The SPEEDI-SLEEVE has been developed by to solve the problem of worn seal counterfaces at shaft ends. The SPEEDI-SLEEVE is thin-walled, 0,28mm (0.011 in), and made of high quality stainless steel. The contact surface is wear-resistant and machined to minimize directionality (0o ±0.05) with a finish of Ra 0,25 to 0,5 µm (10 to 20 µin), depending on size. This thin-walled sleeve has a high quality finish to provide an optimal counterface for a radial shaft seal.

V-ring seals are all-rubber seals for rotating shafts. They consist of a body and a conical shaped sealing lip that is joined to the body by means of a resilient “hinge”. Available in NBR and Viton materials.

Our synthetic lubricant is specially formulated for valves, swivel joints, pumps and flanges in service on sour gas, crudes, and hydrocarbons. They have high metal adhesion, corrosion resistance, and is waterproof.

Desco FM 431 : for food machinery where no direct contact with food. Desco MAG EP2 HT : a non-melting lubricant with suspended molybdenum disulphide.Desco MARINE GREASE : for superior protection in wet environment. Desco RED BENTONE : a general purpose lubricant with extreme pressure lubricity.

These are non-metallic gaskets in wide range of materials for standard and custom flanges. Materials are available as well to replace all asbestos products. The standard dimensions (DIN and ASME) are delivered from stock. Also available approved Ta-Luft VDI2440 materials.

Due to the outstanding chemical stability, PTFE products are used throughout the chemical industry. In addition, the majority of PTFE products are FDA approved, whereby they are also often used in the food and pharmaceutical industries.

Rubber sheet and gaskets of NBR, EPDM and Neoprene are used in a wide variety marine and offshore equipment. In the chemical and food industry, Viton and Silicone are often used.

The ring joint gasket is a metal seal for a wide range of oilfield, chemical process and refinery applications. Manufactured by API licensee, these Ring Joint Gasket conforms to API and ASME standards. Products include the R-, RX- and BX-ring joints. They are available in soft iron, low carbon steel, stainless steel, Inconel 625 and 825, and alloy steel.

The spiral wound gasket is for pipe and vessel flanges in arduous temperature, flow or vibration conditions. The metal strip is available in stainless steel and alloy steel, while the filler can be graphite, PTFE, and mica.

Installed next to mechanical equipment or between the anchor points of a piping system, this is typically used for absorbing misalignment or relieving system strain due to thermal changes and load stresses. Materials available in fabric, rubber, PTFE and metal.
