Oilfield Seal

S-seal is used in down-hole, wellhead, surface equipment, valves, high pressure pipelines and riser system. The springs are available in Stainless Steel, Inconel or PEEK plastic. While steel springs are for static applications, PEEK springs are suitable for dynamic uses.

P-seal is constructed from an elastomer with back up rings for anti-extrusion. Energized by the injection of sealant, it is a static seal that is used to seal rough casing and tubing. Backup rings are available in Mesh Stainless Steel or Solid Carbon Steel.

T-seals are very popular in various down hole tool applications as they can withstand very high pressures and temperatures, even with large extrusion gaps. They are available in many common sizes or can be custom machined for specific applications. T-seal can be used in a dynamic mode.

FS-Seal is a hybrid design of the S-seal and P-seal. The FS-seal is system energized without the need of sealant. Springs are available in Stainless Steel, Inconel or PEEK plastic.

This is used to seal the joints on hammer union pipe. Materials available include NBR, HNBR, Viton and Aflas.

Stainless steel metal end caps provide an anti-extrusion mechanism and encapsulate the seal for protection. Because it contains a radially squeezed pressure energised rubber core, it can tolerate surface imperfections and mechanical damage on the wellhead bore.

The bonded seal is used in work-over and sand control operations. With the bonding of elastomer to a steel core, this serve to prevent excessive rubber compression under loading.

Casing and Tubing Hanger Packer vary considerably in design. They generally comprise a square or rectangular section profile that is compressed axially in a housing to generate a radial sealing force against a casing or tubing. The packer may be homogeneous rubber, or incorporate reinforcement in the form of fabric, steel mesh or garter spring.

Downhole Packer Elements typically used in downhole shut off tools can be custom molded or machined in most elastomeric materials from low cost NBR to high performance, high temperature FFKM.

Valve Stem Packing comprises an assembly of parts made of PTFE, PEEK and Egiloy Spring. It has several sealing lips to withstand large extrusion gaps, potential misalignments, and rough surface finishes. Typical applications are as seal in valve stem, choke, fishing tool, and pumps.

Vee Ring Packings are stocked in various configurations and material. Common uses include chemical injection pump packing, frac pumps, valve stem packing, and downhole tools. They are available in homogeneous rubber, fabric, PTFE and PEEK

The U-Packing comprises a PTFE jacket bonded securely with the NBR or Viton energizer.

Braided Packing is used for numerous applications including transfer pumps, down- hole screw pumps, centrifugal pumps, and valve stem packing. Various materials such as PTFE and graphite can be chosen for correct application.

This is used typically in stuffing boxes, valves, pump, and mechanical equipment.

Chemically treated with special adhesive, the plates remain securely bonded to the rubber even under the most severe applications. The Inner Seal is used together with the Outer Seal in the Blowout Preventer (BOP).

Used mainly in geothermal applications, graphite packing with stainless steel caps or wire mesh rings provide superior performance over metal pressure seals. Due to flexible graphite’s unique ability to conform to irregular surfaces, graphite packing can accommodate scratches, worn areas, and out of round situations.

The top and bottom metal caps provide metal to metal sealing, while the elastomer offers secondary sealing. This sealing system has to be energised by applying a load to it.

Rubber and metal reinforced rubber centralizer fins available for a variety of MWD systems. Custom manufactured centralizer fins are also available.

During transport, pipe and equipment are often met by impacts, debris, etc.  The pipe cover serves to protect the pipe and equipment.

These are designed with positive wiping action to ensure the casing is clean.  It is compatible with a wide range of wellbore fluids.

As used in the polished rod stuffing box, our cone packing is available in a wide range of rubber materials.  PTFE flake and brass flake can be impregnated to improve lubricity and eliminate foreign material buildup

Fabric reinforced rubber diaphragm has layers of fabric sandwiched between layers of rubber. The purpose of this fabric layer is to enhance the durability, tensile strength, flexure strength, flex cycle and many other physical characteristics.

Sitting at the bottom of the stuffing box, the Blow Out Plug are designed such that when the well bore pressure blows past the top of the stuffing box, these plugs will seal on the wire.

Swab Cup Packer is an economical means of isolating casing leaks and depleted zones. It is also a production or injection packer for low pressure application. This packer can be run with cups opposed or in the same direction with packing element back-up rings for higher pressure application and comes in a full range of tubing and casing sizes in two-cup or four-cup models.

The Line Wiper allows well intervention access to wells under pressure.  It prevents well bore fluids and gases from escaping while the wireline moves in and out of the well.

Energized by the injection of sealant, it is a static seal that is used to seal rough casing and tubing.  Springs are available in Stainless Steel, Inconel or PEEK plastic.  For HPHT uses, we offer PEEK coated stainless steel springs specially for dynamic uses under high pressure.

Our new SP-seal is designed to replace the conventional P-seal.  Unlike the P-seal with 2 backup rings, the SP-seal is an integrated piece with anti-extrusion springs bonded within it.  In addition to easier installation, it is cost competitive due to simpler design.  Springs are available in Stainless Steel, Inconel or PEEK plastic. For HPHT uses, we offer PEEK coated stainless steel springs specially for dynamic uses under high pressure.

The Cement Plug is used to separate the cement slurry from other fluids, reducing contamination and maintaining predictable slurry performance.

The Vee Rings are for OITS EQ Prong & R, RN, X, XN, S Lock Mandrels in Standard and H₂S services. Available materials are Aramid NBR, Aramid Viton, Aramid Aflas, Moly-Glass PTFE, Ryton PTFE, etc.

This packing sits in the stuffing box to seal on the wire to hold back well bore pressure.   They are available in fabric impregnated type or in solid rubber/urethane type.

These are designed with positive wiping action to ensure the casing is clean.  Compatible with a wide range of wellbore fluids, the plugs are built from high pressure Polyurethane to high temperature HNBR material.

We offer Swellable O-rings which are designed to provide sealing and zonal isolation for a range of oilfield applications.  The O-rings are simply run to depth and allowed to swell before production or injection operations begin.

PEEK Coated Spring in the S-seal prevents scoring while in dynamic application under high pressure.  The PEEK coating is securely bonded to the 316SS and will not flake.
